Stationery and Co. Spring Ideas:

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about something more colorful and relaxing than makeup and skincare; hand lettering, stationery and colorful pens. Yeah for Spring Season!
First of all I’m going to say that I get the majority of my ideas and creative inspirations from Pinterest, where I always find amazing tips and tricks.

So, in this post I will show you some great color pens, a bunch of lovely notebooks, and a lot of black pens with different tip sizes to write motivational quotes or to draw cute illustrations in your bullet journal.

I will also talk about my picks for a good starter pack for those girls that would love to have a cute and colorful planner or bullet journal, but don’t know how to properly start one. Hope that this will help a little bit!

A cute clear notebook.

You can use it as a notebook-meets-bullet journal, or to write inspiring quotes, or whatever words you feel the need to put down on paper. It is a very helpful tool because you can keep track of your daily meetings, appointments, tasks etc., and also it can be a very good synthesis of your best personal ideas and strategies to improve and organize your daily life. Moreover, it’s so refreshing and calming to write, in your own handwriting, whatever you want in a beautiful journal, after spending so much of our day (and sometimes night) online, on devices and apps.

 – My beloved black Sakura Pigma Micron Fine Pens in the numbers 005, 01, 02, 05.

These are excellent drawing pens that are also pretty good for writing, too. They have a precise, strong and consistent line with a great pigmented ink that is fade resistant and will not smudge or transfer/stain the paper below. They’re available in red, green, blue and, of course, black. Moreover, the barrel is a good comfortable length, the cap posts securely and the weight is just fine.

– Color Pens Giotto Turbo Giant and Turbo Glitter in Pastel.

I have been searching for these color pens for a very long time, then a couple of days ago I have finally found them… yeah!!! The Turbo Giant have a felt-tip that writes a 1mm line. The shades are super pastel, so light and spring-ish, but the ink is great because it writes and color in very well and doesn’t stain the back of your sheet.

The Turbo Glitter, on the other hand, have a fun and bright colors thanks mostly to the glitters in the ink (so your words will spark under the lights or glow under the sun like a unicorn mane ;-). But you have to be careful with these one because if you put down too much pressure you can easily stain the paper below.

The amazing Guangdong Genvana Brush Pens.

I have recently bought these amazing brush pens on Amazon. I have them in three different tips sizes:

– the first one has a medium tip size;

– the second one has a long brush tip that gives a sharply defined line with wide variation in width. It’s possible to get very fine lines, with care, and, on the other hand, big broad strokes;

– the last one has a hard fairly fine tip (this one gives a good sharp and consistent line).

I really like their ink because it’s the best I have ever used with a good pigmented color that will dry fairly quickly and then fade a bit with a textured brush effect. These great brush pens have a good brush tip, but you need to be careful and put down just the right amount of ink; too much pressure and you can easily stain the paper below.

Some cute and colorful washi tapes.

I love washi tapes! I always use them to decorate my bullet journal and my Filofax organiser. It’s a relaxing 5 minutes hobby and during a blue Monday (or any other “blue” day, actually) you can look at them and smile a little bit.

– Post-It Notes in different shapes and Letters Stamps.

For a little vintage touch I love to use Letters Stamps. And Post-It Notes in different shapes are great to stick everywhere on your bullet journal just for fun or as reminders for important appointments/dates.

This is it, my cute, funny and useful bullet journal guide kit. I hope you will like it.

So, what about you? Have you ever used a bullet journal?

How do you decorate it? I would love to hear you ideas!

Skincare Gift Ideas

Stationery Gift Ideas

1- Let’s begin with the Beauty Gift Ideas:

• For your best friend or a really close relative I think it would be great to buy a handy, beautiful and very big palette for the eyes. I would choose 35P palette from Morphe Brushes; amazing quality, a beauty bargain and it contains the most magnificent and plum-ish colors I have ever used.

• If you are looking for a good set of makeup brushes to give to one of your makeup addict friends (or to yourself), but you’re on a budget, I would recommend this lovely Start Makers Set with a silicone brush cleaner included

You can see my favorite red lipsticks here

2- Let’s move onto my favorite part; Skincare Gift Ideas:

• This is a great moisturizer and an amazing primer all in one product. I like to use it under my makeup, especially when I am in a hurry and I need an all in one type of product as a moisturizer and a makeup base. Hangover from Too Faced is the one! It’s a smoothing and at the same time hydrating lotion/cream; the perfect combo for the freezing winter weather. A terrific gift!

Here is my review.

• The Revitalizing Oil for face, body and hair by Darphin is awesome and has a really high moisturizing powers for the girls that suffer from dry skin/hair. It’s another perfect and also multipurpose gift.

Here you can read my review and see the product.

• Last, but surely not least, the most important product in everyone skincare routine, a gentle but perfect cleanser for an intense purification of your skin; the amazing LRP Effaclar H cleanser. It’s a mousse/cream that takes off all the dirt on your skin, the Gift with a capital “G” for your friend that doesn’t know anything about taking care properly of her/his skin!

Here is my photos and review.

3- And then I will finishing this post with some lovely Stationery Gift Idea:

• I really love using cute pens to write down my post ideas, appointments and deadlines on my Filofax so I’ve scoured almost all Amazon stationery pages to find this Okray Swarovsky Pens with all the colors in one box. It’s amazing, isn’t it?! 😉 I mean, all the colors in one box?! OMG!!!

You can find it here

• For a year now I keep trying to learn how to write in a better and flourish way, and I keep failing every single time. So, this Christmas I was thinking to buy a calligraphy book that has at the end a little sketchbook for practicing your writing style at home.

You can find it here

• In the end I thought about a beautiful spiral notebook where you can write down every single one of your amazing thoughts and ideas. This notebook would also make a great stocking filler item or a great part of a bigger gift.

You can find it here

So, see you next week with some other ideas for your Holidays/Christmas shopping!

Stationery Addiction:

Hello everyone! 🙂 In today’s post I’m going to talk about something different, my addiction… for planner, stickers (OMG, those amazing stickers) and all kind of stationery things! 😉

Let’s start from the beginning, shall we?

Hello, my name is Federica and I’m addicted to… stationery!

*Hello, Federica* the group said. 😉

Early this year I’ve watched some videos here and there, where people and you-tubers were beautifully decorating their weekly planners; I really liked their style and their tricks and methods for organizing every single day.

-Here some of them:

TheSassyClub
Gloria Fair
Boho Berry
I also discovered that there’s a whole culture of planner nerds. (Hello, my girls and guys!) And by then I was hooked. And I really want to thank the great people of “CartopazzeFB group that has inspired me by providing amazing decorating ideas!

So I decided to try this planner/decorating thing on my own by buying a planner! After The Great Hunt, I finally decided to go for the Filofax Saffiano Personal in the color Raspberry [ IT US UK ]

(but there are many other “sizes” and colors that you can choose, from the small[mini] to the biggest[A4]).

It really changed my days from messy to organized; in fact the whole point of getting my planner was to help me be more organized and to make things easier to remember. And it really worked because when I write things down, I remember them better, and I can leave my beloved planner open in front of me on my desk all day.

•My Filofax organization:

1- Planner:

 2- Lists/Notes:

 3- To do/Wishlists:

4- Personal Stuff:

5- Various:

6- Work/Jobs:

So now I am completely engaged into the process of not just organizing things, but decorating my planner like it is a scrapbook. Now, my planner is beautiful; colorful, creative but very functional, too! Plus, it had fun accessories like motivational stickers and such.

•You can find some cute stickers here or here.

• Washi from Lidl Italia:

But one of the things about a planner is that it takes a while to figure out what style and type work best for you.

I’ll put some pics of my stationery starter kits here so you can look at different things that, I hope, can be inspiring for you:

•My first starter kit:

•My Bullet Journal for daily tasks:

•Pen starter kit:

Okay, so those are my choices; any other planner nerds out there? 😉 What kind of stationery do you like to use?

Back to school stationery must have:

Hello everyone! 🙂 Summer is winding down with the holidays, therefore the sadness and the need to cheer us up. So, how about going to a stationery store and buy some colored and cute stuff for our back to school time!I thought I should write a list of things that might be helpful for taking notes or write down the key-words of the lessons. 😉

1- In the first place you will need a case to hold your pencil, your pen, your highlighters, your mints, your candies, ups… 😉

2- Colored pens to write the title of the lesson and recognize it when you will return home and be like a zombie in “The Walking Dead“.

3- Highlighters to mark important passages of a dialogue when you got a little distracted (this morning outside the window the sky was really blue)!

4- A black and a red pen to write the important words of your teacher on your sheet, as long as the lesson doesn’t become boring and you begin to draw.

5- Glue, to stick everything in place and not on your friend’s arm.

6- A cute little ruler to draw straight lines when math begins to go out of control.

7- A cute eraser because you know you will need it in the hard times.

8- A pencil when you are not sure about it.

9- A little page marker like this pink arrow to open quickly the exercise book and always be on top of things!

10- If you don’t want to miss anything and be a… “good girl”, you can use some super sticky post-it, so they won’t come off easily.

11- And a daily calendar to know everything you are going to do the next day, or maybe even the next week if you are a cute little red fish!

Ciao a tutti!
