Summer Favourites: A Great Eye Cream For Dark Circles – Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector SPF 30:

Hello everyone! 🙂 Today is a skincare day review, so we are going to talk about a great eye cream to bright under-eye dark circles: Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30.

Who is it for?

Everyone who wants an effective, but lightweight morning cream to bright and correct under-eye darkness. Also, everyone who wants a good dedicated product to protect the delicate eye area from UV damage.

What’s good about it?

Usually, I’m not a fan of specific eye products, I prefer to use my foundation or BB cream around my eyes as well. But I have just tried the Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30, and I am really pleased with it so far.

Its lovely, lightweight and fragrance-free formula can instantly bright my under-eye area, and sometimes (not always, tough) I don’t even need to put my favorite concealer above it. Although, especially if you have very dark circles, you will always have to apply a good concealer above it.

Another amazing quality of this product, and the one I personally love the most, is that this eye cream contains a broad spectrum sun protection (SPF30), provided by pure titanium dioxide. This mineral ingredient can protect the delicate eye area from UV damage, and also it can double as a cosmetic pigment to help hide and light the appearance of dark circles, even if temporarily.

According to Kiehl’s, this eye cream contains a good amount of vitamin C, which is an amazing ingredient that can help to improve and correct dark circles caused by sun damage. Moreover, it’s formula is also packed with Caffeine and Licorice Root Extracts; both are excellent ingredients to improve skin discoloration, puffiness and aging damages.

The consistency of this eye cream is not greasy, and its silky texture sets, a couple of seconds after you have applied it, to a powdery matte finish that has just a touch of luminosity. It also sits very well beneath makeup, but I would recommend to apply only a small drop of product, otherwise, if you will put too much on, it would only make your dark circles worse. So, be careful and apply only a small amount of product.

Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is paraben-free, fragrance-free and ophthalmologist tested, so it is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

What’s not so good about it?

To be honest, this product is a little too dry, at least for me. So, if the skin around your eyes is dry, you will absolutely need to apply your favorite eye cream or moisturizer underneath it. But this is not a deal breaker, because, even with its minimal moisturizing properties, Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is really a great product to try.

Also, it is pricey, but you will only need a small amount and the product is really worth of your money.

Final thoughts!

It’s hard to find a good eye cream with sunscreen that doesn’t irritate your eyes, improves the appearance of your under-eye area, and contains beneficial ingredients to improve and protect your delicate eye area from UV and aging damages. So, for this 3 very good reasons, I would really recommend Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 30. Moreover, it is a must have product to use the morning after a wild summer late night, or also when you are out and about on vacation, or relaxing at the beach or hiking in the mountains… overall every situation that involves staying outside under the hot summer sun.
