Review of Sephora Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying:

Hello everyone! 🙂 Today it’s a skincare day review, because we are going to talk about the Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying by Sephora. 🙂

Who is it for?

Everyone who is on a budget, but wants to try a good deep cleansing, clay-based mask.

What’s good about it?

I have used this product all winter now and I can say that this is the perfect mask for those who, like me, have blemishes, impurities and oily or combo skin.

Moreover, the Sephora Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying is more affordable than other amazing masks on the market, but it is really effective, as well.

After applying an even layer over my dry face, I wait until the color of the mask has changed and the product has dried out almost completely, only then I will rinse it off with slightly warm water and a wet cloth.

After using this great mask my skin feels cleaner and smoother than before; even some of the blackheads, especially those on my nose, are gone and my pores are less evident.

My favourite routine is to use this purifying mask, then immediately follow up with a moisturizing mask to balance my skin; I do this once a week, usually during the weekend as a little relaxing therapy! 😉

At first the product can sting a little on your face, but don’t worry, it’s just the mask that works its magic on your skin, plus that sensation goes away in a minute!

This mask is without parabens, dermatologist tested, not tested on animals and noncomedogenic.

What’s not so good about it?

If you have dry or sensitive skin this mask can be a little too aggressive for you, so, in this case, I would recommend using it only on your T-zone!

Also, it has a weird ”metal-ishscent; not strong or bad, at least for me, only unusual.

Final thoughts!

I really love the Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying by Sephora because it does exactly what it says on the pot; absorbs the excess sebum without drying up, cleanses the skin and unclogs the pores. So, if you want an affordable weekly treatment that makes your skin feel nicely purified, then this mask is a great product to try.
