Review of the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer:

Hello everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚ Today it’s a “fusion” day review, because we are going to talk about the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Who is it for?

Everyone who wants a lightweight, refreshing and fast absorbing primer/morning cream.

What’s good about it?

I’ve been using this primer for a couple months now, and I really love it! If you follow my blog from the very beginning you will know that I have oily/combo skin and some acne scars to soothe after a drying treatment; this primer really helps to cover the scars and the dry, red patches on my cheeks and nose.

Also, the Hangover Replenishing Face Primer has the texture of a fluid lotion that absorbs quickly doing a great job to provide a smooth canvas for makeup application, as well as helping your foundation stay longer.

The bonus point of this primer is that you can’t use it only for its sole purpose, but even as the last step in your skincare regimen instead of your usual morning cream. In fact, it contains coconut water and some coconut-derived ingredients that are great to add moisture to your skin and good alternatives to the other generally used emollients such as silicone and glycerin (this primer does have a light coconut scent, a really fresh and not overwhelming fragrance).

Also its slightly moisturizing formula seems to “protect” your skin from heavy make-up products that can tend to dry out e leave dry patches on your face if you wear it for too many hours.

On the skin Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer feels slightly moisturizing and sets to a lightly dewy finish, making it great especially for those with combo to normal skin.

Moreover, this primer really works (at least temporarily) to even your skin tone and, to a minor extent, fill in pores and fine lines.

According to Too Faced, Hangover is a revolutionary makeup primer infused with coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers that work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer and more flawless wear.

I can honestly say that this primer does exactly what it says it does, plus it’s vegan friendly and paraben free! ๐Ÿ˜‰

What’s not so good about it?

I have to say that it’s pricey for a primer, but you don’t need to use too much of it (I generally use one and a half pump for my entire face), so a little bit goes a long way.

Final thoughts!

If you always had issues with silicone based primers this is the right product for you. Also, I’m very impressed with the qualities of the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer; my complexion has improved since using it and my skin looks more healthier than before. I really recommend this product!

    1. If you have bad skin day I really recommend this primer used like a morning cream, it’s perfect! If you have the chance I think you can ask a sample to the sephora-lady or search for a christmas gift set to try out the product. ๐Ÿ™‚
