Hello everyone! 🙂
Today it’s -10 to Christmas so I was thinking to write down an “Italian” menu for a great Christmas dinner or for any holiday dinner. (For example if you were thinking to invite some of your friends/colleagues at your place to celebrate and you want to surprise them with some very delicious Italian dishes).
So, here are some ideas:
This is actually a Greek sauce sometimes served as a dip with focaccia bread. It is made of strained yogurt (usually from sheep or goat milk) mixed with smashed cucumbers, garlic, salt, olive oil and sometimes dill. Delicious!

2. First Course:
This is a spicy sauce for pasta made from tomatoes and red chili peppers, cooked in olive oil. “Arrabbiata” literally means “angry” in Italian; the name of this sauce may very well be due to the heat of the chili peppers and one’s reaction to them. 😉

3. Main Dish:
This main course is an amazing dish prepared with two premium Piedmontese products: a boneless cut of chuck roast from the highly prized Piedmontese breed of cattle and Barolo wine, generally considered one of Italian’s best red wines. A tasty side dish with this main course is a bowl of roasted potatoes.

When Christmas holidays are over or you want to make a new creative dessert and you have still left some Pandoro or Panettone slices you can prepare this quick and easy recipe for a dinner dessert or a sunday brunch! 😉

Buon Appetito… and Happy Holidays!
