You can’t wait to read part 3, right? So, let’s start!
• Here are some great recommendations for TV Series addicted:
-If one of your friends/parents/whatever loves binge-watching TV series like there is no tomorrow, then you can get them a subscription to Netflix or Amazon. Best series to watch? These three for sure: Sense8, Jessica Jones and Mr. Robot.
Sense8 tells the story of eight strangers: Will, Riley, Capheus, Sun, Lito, Kala, Wolfgang and Nomi. Each individual is from a different culture and part of the world. In the aftermath of a tragic death, an event that they all experience through what they perceive as dreams or visions, they suddenly find themselves growing mentally and emotionally connected. While trying to figure how and why this connection happened and what it means, a mysterious man named Jonas tries to help the eight. Meanwhile, another stranger called Whispers attempts to hunt them down, using the same sensate power to gain full access to a Sensate’s mind (thoughts/sight) after looking into their eyes. Each episode reflects the views of the characters interacting with each other, while delving deeper into their backgrounds and what sets them apart and brings them together with the others.
I think this is a show that everyone needs to watch because the idea that every single person in the world can connect, mentally and emotionally, with another is original and intriguing plus the characters are played by amazing actors. It is a tv show very well developed and played!
Following a tragic end to her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.
I love graphic novels and Krysten Ritter gives the best of herself in this main character!
Elliot Alderson is a young cyber-security engineer living in New York; he also assumes the role of a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot meets a mysterious anarchist known as “Mr. Robot” who recruits him to join his team of hackers called “Fsociety”. Elliot, who has a social anxiety disorder and connects to people by hacking them, is intrigued but uncertain if he wants to be part of the group. The show follows Mr. Robot’s attempts to engage Elliot in his mission to destroy the corporation Elliot is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs that are running (and ruining) the world.
It’s a great intriguing and provocative series!
• Here are some gifts ideas for music lovers:
– This is an amazing gift if one of your friends/parents/whatever really loves listening to great rock music almost all-day and all-night (the sound quality of this headphones is pretty awesome). I got these as a gift last year and I absolutely adore them!
Here’s a good starter kit!
– Sometimes videogames are a boy BFF, aren’t they?
Last Summer I watched on YouTube some great videos about this title and I can say that I loved it. It is a survival horror with interesting characters and a really scary plot that takes place in a remote mountain retreat… oh and you might also find some well known actors providing the voices and likenesses for some of the characters.
Eight friends are trapped together on a remote mountain retreat, and they aren’t alone. Gripped by dread, with tensions running high, they must fight through their fear if they all hope to make through the night in one piece. Play as each of the eight characters and experience fear like you never have before. Every decision you make in your terrifying search for answers could mean the difference between life and death, but for whom? Your actions alone will decide who survives Until Dawn.
– Or maybe one of your friends/parents/whatever is a tech addicted? And he is always complaining about the low life of his iPhone/iPad etc. battery ? Then you have your answer: a portable power bank for Christmas is the best gift you can get to him! Here is one of the best around 🙂
